At the end of the month of Ramadan, the Muslim fasting period, some of the families in D'jimia Ishakh Souleymane's block in the Breidjing Refugee Camp celebrated the festival of Eid al-Fitr by banding together to buy a goat, which they then slaughtered. Later that day, the refugee families split up into groups of men and women who feasted, separately, on aiysh and goat-meat soup.
