    This site presents nearly 40 years of photography from around the world by the freelance photojournalist Peter Menzel. A cross-section of this Napa, California-based photographer's work can be found on the galleries page.

    In partnership with his editor-in-wife Faith D'Aluisio, a writer, Menzel's photography has been the center-piece of several books, which focus predominantly on raising awareness in readers of the world around them, from the part our possessions play in our lives to the state of our diets.

    The couple lectures on the subjects that they cover and mount exhibits around the world. Menzel's photography, and the couple's work, has appeared in GEO, Time Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Life, National Geographic Magazine, Fortune, El Pais, Le Figaro, and others.
